Fourth Grade Music Week One

Responding and Connecting to Music in Our Lives!

During this crazy time we are living in, music can help us find our way through. This week, you will connect with music that you may have never done before...

Below are 5 very short activities to get you started! You can do them all on one day, if you are feeling eager, or you can spread them over the course of the week.

Let's get started!

1. Find a piece of paper and follow the video to make a book (number your pages just like in the video):

2. Color and design the cover of your new music journal!

3. With an adult, find a song that you have a connection to and read the lyrics.

4. Find a section of the lyrics that mean something to you and write them in your journal on page 2 (page 1 is your cover!).

5. Finally, on page 3, write down why those lyrics that you wrote (in number 4) mean something to you.
