Connecting Music Through the Ages
Learning Target- Students will explore how music has evolved and the influences and impacts music from the past has on today’s music and musicians.
Materials Needed- Paper, something to write with, friends, family, or classmates to have discussions with.
Part 1- Making connections with past and present

Respond- What are some of the most noticeable changes in music from this video? Which songs did you recognize?
Part 2- Extending your knowledge
Watch- Music and Emotion Through Time:
As you are watching, jot down some main points that are made in the video and/or the times at the video where they occur so you can go to those parts of the video to re-watch small sections.
