Robotics

 OPTIONAL COURSE CREDIT: Optional credit is available for this course through Edx.org   Students interested in this option need to sign-up and enroll during the first week of class.

 Course Goals:

(1) Learning the electrical and mechanical principles of robotics using hands on activities.

(2)   Enhancement of numeracy and literacy skills using real world electronics activities

Course Credit:  This course can be taken as either a 3rd year Science credit or a Career & Technical Education (CTE) elective credit. 

Canvas Course Access:   The majority of course assignments and materials are accessible on a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week basis.

General:

Discipline: Control your behavior and actions – complete work on time.

Engagement: Be fully involved in your education and encourage others.

Safety Procedures:    Student safety is the single most important issue in education.  Because of this, laboratory rules will be stressed and enforced.

Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO): Membership in Skills USA, TSA, and FIRST Robotics is an integral part of all Career and Technology Education classes.
